IBM has reorganized its 50,000+ employees and vast portfolio into two units called Software Solutions and Software Middleware.
The reorganization moves some of the established executives into new, broader positions but it also gives up-and-coming executives leadership slots.
Eyes will be on IBM to see whether this reorganization produces the expected benefits.
